Woke up to a really hard frost -5 at least last night.However, it is a clear sunny day although still cold. Hazel has now finished her season so all the dogs can go out together which does make things easier for me.
Sorrell is doing really well on her recall, and shows all the right signs for making a staunch pointer. Sit to the hand signal and whistle have been started, along with a whistle recall. We have started retrieving a tennis ball, but the minute I tried to get a sit, she spat out the tennis ball to get the treat. This is the trouble with teaching sit with a treat. I am now starting to try and teach the hold/give command, and I'm having some success with this although she is only 11 weeks old and has a short attention span. Overall though she is great, although a bit too noisy!!!!
Risque went out for her first hack today. She was really sharp, but actually never put a foot wrong.
