19th November, Monday

It rained most of yesterday, and was pretty grime. Winter is really here. I have decided that both Ellie and Panache will now come in at night so I have each in their own stable. The corner stable that they have been sharing is fine while the big double doors at the back at left open, and then if Ellie does have a go at Panache (which she does occassionally) at least Panache can get out the way. The wind has been howling through, so now Ellie is in her own stable, I am shutting the back doors on Panache's stable. Silly really, Panache is the smallest and has the biggest stable now.


Rode Risque and led Chloe (Ride 1 - lead 1) for an hour before going to the shoot. Got soaked... loads of rain..... and it continued on and off all day.

Dogs were fine. Some good, some bad. Overall Rusty was probably best, definitely found the most birds, and didn't do anything wrong. Jaz is too focused on runners and live birds and gets too hot, and even Hazel ran in when I was least expecting it.
Back to more training.....

Dogs are really tired and wet. It did seem a long day. Still raining while I type this. The field looks a mess already.
